Team Bios - Chris Tanner
Chris
was born at a very early age in Independence, MO on April 11, 1981. He attended
high school at Truman High School. Throughout his education, Chris participated
in band for a total of nine years, playing the sax and flute. After high school
graduation, he enrolled at Kansas State University where he attended classes for
two years then transferred to Georgia Tech.
He
currently works for MOD (Mission Operations Directorate) as a Coop at Johnson
Space Center. Chris previously worked for Honeywell where 80% of the United
States nuclear arsenal is manufactured and maintained. Chris made waves at the
beginning of his current job by dying his hair. “I thought it looked good and
would make me stand out in a crowd of smart people that work here at NASA. Guess
I stood out too much - the man brought me down.”
